Second Installment of Buddy Lessons.... What It's Like Intro Questions What do you think it would be like to have a sibling with a disability? How do you think people would react to seeing you and your sibling out together, if your sibling had a disability? They watched Jesus interact with the man? They traveled back home in the boat with Jesus? Imagine how the man who was demon- possessed felt when… He saw Jesus and the disciples coming towards him? Today I will begin to post a series of lessons that have been designed for you to do with your high school buddies serving in your club or to begin to expose campaigner friends to the idea of reaching out to kids with disabilities in their schools.  Let's not miss the opportunities to help our buddies grow and process, alongside of a YL leader, while they are serving in our ministries! Below is a list of items put together by a Committee Member and YL Capernaum Leader for a cabin of guys and girls during a week or weekend at Young Life Camp.   These supplies can be put together ahead of time and given to the leaders in a container for each gender.   It is best to put these items in a durable bag or small plastic container, so that the bags don’t rip in the midst of travel.   Then each year, the same container can just be refilled with items. They are necessary items for a week or weekend of camping with Capernaum Friends and providing this for leaders will bless them immensely, as well as make their week a bit smoother.
